The Diocese of London runs an ecumenical link with the Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of Berlin-Brandenburg in Germany. Through this, St Luke’s enjoys a connection with the church in Brieselang, a small town outside Berlin.
In October a group of eleven guests from Brieselang joined us for our celebration of St Luke’s Day. As well as attending the Mass and other services, they also took in the sights of London and met our parishioners. On Saturday afternoon they visited the Vicarage for a classic British afternoon tea.
