Friendship with St Matthew’s

Posted on November 25, 2020

Our neighbours in W14 at St Matthew’s Sinclair Road have been in interregnum since February when their long-serving parish priest, Fr Huw, retired after 34 years in the parish.

The Diocese of London, St Matthew’s and St Luke’s have negotiated for Fr William to take up residence in the vacant vicarage at St Matthew’s during their time of interregnum, and between them Fr Richard and Fr William will help (with others) to cover the services and pastoral needs of the parish during this time. We hope this will also lead to fruitful new friendships and developments between the two parishes, and exciting new projects for collaboration.

Watch this space for more details in the coming months.

Remembrance Sunday – 8 November 2020

Posted on November 6, 2020

We will remember and give thanks for the lives of all those who have fought and died to protect our liberty and preserve peace on Sunday 8 November at 10.55am.

Please gather in the forecourt outside the main door of church, being careful to observe two-metres distance between households. We will be joined by a bugler for the Last Post and a small choir.

Our Act of Remembrance will include the two-minutes silence and take around 20 minutes altogether.

Church will be open for private prayer from 10am.
