During the interregnum at St Matthew’s Kensington Olympia Fr William and Fr Richard have been providing most of the Mass cover.
The Bishop of Fulham has now asked Fr Richard to accept the role of Priest-in-Charge of St Matthew’s from October onwards in addition to his role as Vicar of St Luke’s.
This is good news for St Luke’s and a recognition of our strengths and what we can offer to other parishes and to the wider church. Please note 5pm on Saturday 2 October in your diaries when the Bishop of Fulham will license Fr Richard at St Matthew’s. Please continue to pray for the life of our parish, for St Matthew’s and our developing links with them, and for Fr Richard as he prepares to take up this additional appointment.
