St Luke’s enjoys having people of all ages worship with us. We especially benefit from the contribution of our young people and their families.
Our main provision for children is at Sunday Club during the Mass on Sunday mornings; other groups include the Children’s Choir and the Youth Group.
Sunday Club
Sunday Club is our children’s church. It takes place on Sunday morning at 10am during the first part of the Mass. Children aged from 5 to 9 meet to learn about Jesus and worship together. Their work is then presented to the congregation at the end of Mass. About once a term, the Sunday Club helps with the various ministries at the Sunday Mass at an all-age celebration. If you would like your child to join the Sunday Club then please get in touch.
Youth group
St Luke’s Youth Group meets on a periodic basis for activities, discussion and fun! Check the calendar for the dates of our events. The Youth Group is open to those aged 13 to 18.
There are also occasional events for children, young people and families. Particular highlights of the year include the Nativity Play after Mass on the fourth Sunday of Advent, and the All-Age Mass for Harvest Thanksgiving.
